Taupo District Council is endeavouring to re-home suitable dogs that have been abandoned or surrendered. The dog is matched to the adopter. Remember A dog is a 'Friend For Life'.

A property check is done before the dog can be adopted. An adoption fee of $75 is required. The dog must also be registered prior to leaving the pound.

You receive

• A $60 voucher towards de-sexing your dog and your dog will be micro chipped.
• A free collar.

We have all sorts of dogs,these are some of the dogs we have rehomed in the past.

There are many more dogs at the Pound so come visit and take your pick. We have Pig Dogs, Bird Dogs and all sorts of pet dogs. We can arrange neutering and inoculations when you purchase the dog - all at a special rate.
