Dogs are Fun is a social day out for dogs while fundraising for the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind’s Guide Dog service. This event gives dogs an opportunity to strut their talents and win prizes in competitions such as the waggiest tail, curliest coat, best bark, or biggest dribble.

Latest News and Issues

• The event on January 21, 2006 saw beautiful weather and a big turnout of dogs and people with large participation in all competitions. The face painting and sausage sizzle were also well supported. A total of $2300 was raised for Guide Dog Services. Although this was down a little from last year it was still a pleasing outcome.
