The Taupo District Council has three public libraries. They are in Taupo, Turangi, and Mangakino.

Taupo Library Online

The Taupo Library catalog system 'HORIZON' is now live on the Internet. You may search the catalog system, renew and reserve books online. Horizon was launched 7 February 2005.
