Toddler Time 10.30 am to 11 am mornings during school term. There is a different theme each week.
Membership
New Zealand Residents
Membership is available with a $1.00 charge to cover the cost of the library card and postage.
Please note that items may not be issued on the day of joining
Subscription
A subscription can be taken out at $17.00 a month with $10.00 being refundable on return of all items in good condition. Contact us for more information.
Overseas Visitors/Temporary Residents
A one month subscription can be taken out at $20.00 plus a $40.00 refundable deposit when all material is returned undamaged. Contact us for more information.
You are responsible for every item borrowed on your card. Please let us know if at any time
Lending
Issue Periods
All items can be borrowed for 28 days except CD’s, magazines and high demand books for 14 days, and videos for seven days. Renewals can be made for a further period unless the item has been requested by another patron.
Note: if DVDs or Videos are not returned within 2 days of the due date a further rental fee will be automatically charged.
Library Fees
All borrowing library materials are free except for:

Music CD’s are $3.00 per item

DVDs are $4.00 per item

Reserves are $1.50

Interloans are $5.00 per item, $2 to be paid on request and $3 postage when the item is received

Photocopying and Printouts are 20 cents per page
Overdue Charges
There is a charge for items returned or renewed after the due date.

Adult and Young Peoples items: Per item is 60 cents for the first week overdue, then five cents per day to a maximum of $5.00

Children’s items: Per item is 30 cents for the first week overdue, then five cents per day to a maximum of $5.00

Videos: Per item is 40 cents for the first 3 days overdue, then five cents per day to a maximum of $5.00

Videos, DVDs, not returned within 2 days of the due date will automatically be charged another rental fee.
Note
Borrowing privileges will be discontinued if any fee is owing.
