The Taupo District Council operates a graffiti removal service throughout the District. 

If graffiti is found on Council or public property, this can be reported by telephoning 07 376 0899 or by emailing general@taupo.govt.nz

Graffiti and vandalism within the Taupo area will be repaired within 15 working days, that is, within budgetary constraints. Any offensive or dangerous vandalism will be repaired within one working day. There is only a cost when repainting is required.

• If the graffiti is on Council Property please contact Customer Services.
• If the graffiti is on private property please complete the Graffiti Removal Authorisation Form HERE ( 38 kb PDF ) and either post it in to Council at Private Bag 2005 Taupo, or fax to 07 376 9310 or drop it in to a Taupo District Council office. This is a free service unless repainting is required. Please read the form carefully before signing it.
• Council will clean commercial property as long as it is not an ongoing problem. If cleaning is required more than twice, a charge will be considered.
