Council provides an array of Amenity areas which enhance and compliment the environment for the enjoyment of residents and visitors to the Taupo District.

Amenity planting areas include horticultural features, landscape gardens, trees, shrubs and flowers. Native plantings are encouraged in appropriate areas and vibrant flower displays are provided in the Central Business District area.
