The Taupo Community Park, located on the corner of Heu Heu and Titiraupenga Streets, was a joint venture between Taupo District Council and Taupo Primary School.
Improvements to the park have recently been undertaken to include facilities such as a multi purpose hard court in-line rink that is suitable for a wide range of sports including basketball, netball, tennis, roller hockey and volleyball.
