The Turangi 'Turtle Pool' Swimming Complex is located on McLaren Park, Ohuanga Rd, Turangi.
 
The pool was constructed for the public of Turangi and Tongariro High School's use.  At present it operates for the summer season, October - April.
 
There are three pools - the main pool, shallow pool and a toddlers Turtle Pool.  The pools also meets the NZ Poolsafe criteria.

The Main Pool measures:12.8m wide x 25m long
Its depth: 1m to 1.168m

The Shallow Pool measures: 12.85m wide x 4.57m wide x 8.96m long    Its depth: 0 to 0.762m

The Toddlers Turtle Pool depth: 0 to 0.40m

Weekdays:                            3.30pm-5.15pm
 
Weekends, Public Holidays }   10.30am-12noon
and school holidays          }     1.15-5.30pm

Entry is Free. Children aged eight years and under are not permitted on these premises unless supervised by a responsible caregiver.
