There is no fee for parking in Taupo, but there are time limits. Free off-street parking is also provided.
Stop Crime Before it Happens

- Lock any other valuables in the boot where they can't be seen

Mobility Parking
Mobility Parking is provided in designated parking areas in Taupo and Turangi. People who have a mobility issue can apply for a Mobility Parking Permit by contacting Customer Services. Membership is not transferable and can be withdrawn if the permit is abused.

Mobility parking in Turangi is allocated to outside
- New World at the lake entrance
- Time for Food at the river entrance
- National Bank
There are no meters and no time limits except a 15 minute parking restriction outside the Bakery and WINZ in Ohuanga Road.
There is restriction free carparking on either side of the shopping mall.
