Call for Further Submissions: Proposed District Plan Variations 19,20 and 21.

April 12 2007 Taupo District Council gives notice that a summary of submissions to Proposed Taupo District Plan Variations 19 (Rural Variation), 20 (Residential Variation) and 21 (Land Development and Growth Management Variation) is now available and invites any interested party to make a further submission on those original submissions already lodged.
 

 

Taupo District Council gives notice that a summary of submissions to Proposed Taupo District Plan Variations 19 (Rural Variation), 20 (Residential Variation) and 21 (Land Development and Growth Management Variation) is now available and invites any interested party to make a further submission on those original submissions already lodged.
Pursuant to clause 7 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, Variations 19, 20 and 21 are now available for further submission.
Variation 19 Rural Variation – applies new subdivision rules and a revision of the minimum lot size to the Rural Environment.
Variation 20 Residential Variation – provides for strategic zoning for future areas of urban development.
Variation 21 Land Development and Growth Management Variation – provides a policy framework for unfolding future growth areas in the Taupo District, whilst ensuring efficient infrastructure provision and specific assessments of environmental effects are undertaken through an appropriate structure planning and plan change process.

A full copy of the submissions and the summary of submissions may be inspected at any of the following Council Offices:

Interested parties can make further submissions supporting or opposing the original submissions already lodged.  Further submissions must be in writing and be in accordance with Form 6 of the Resource Management (Forms, Fees and Procedure) Regulations 2003.  Appropriate forms are available from the above locations.
 
The closing date for further submissions on Proposed District Plan Variation 19, 20 and 21 is 5.00pm, Thursday 10 May 2007.  Further Submissions can be:
