Taupo District Council gives notice that a summary of original submissions to Proposed District Plan Variation 22 Road Hierarchy is now available, and invites any interested party to make a further submission on those original submissions already lodged.
Variation 22 seeks to amend the Road Hierarchy as set down on the Planning Maps contained within the Proposed District Plan to reflect changes in the function and traffic volumes of the District’s roads.
Pursuant to clause 7 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, original submissions made on Variation 22 are now available for further submission.
A full copy of the original submissions and a summary may be inspected at any of the following Council Offices:
- Taupo District Council – 72 Lake Terrace, Taupo
- Taupo Public Library – Tongariro Street, Taupo
- Turangi Service Centre – Town Centre, Turangi
- Turangi Library – Town Centre, Turangi
- Mangakino Service Centre - Civic Centre, Rangatira Drive, Mangakino
- Mangakino Library - Civic Centre, Rangatira Drive, Mangakino
- Or online at www.taupo.govt.nz
Interested parties can make further submissions supporting or opposing the original submissions already lodged. Further submissions must be in writing and be in accordance with Form 6 of the Resource Management (Forms, Fees and Procedure) Regulations 2003. Appropriate forms are available from the above locations.
The closing date for further submissions on Proposed District Plan Variation 22 is 5.00pm, Thursday 17 May 2007. Further Submissions can be:
