Call for Further Submissions: Acacia Bay Height Restriction

September 21 2006 Taupo District Council gives notice that a summary of submissions to Proposed Taupo District Plan Variation 6: Acacia Bay Height Restriction, is now available and invites any interested party to make a further submission on those original submissions already lodged.

The proposed variation seeks to amend planning maps 31a and 33b of the Proposed District Plan by removing the Height Restricted Area notation shown on about 40 properties in Acacia Bay.  Properties identified as Height Restricted Area have a maximum building height of 5m.  Removing the Height Restricted Area notation will mean that these properties have the same 8m maximum building height as all other residential properties in Acacia Bay.

A full copy of the submissions and the summary of submissions may be inspected at any of the following Council Offices:

Interested parties can make further submissions supporting or opposing the original submissions already lodged.  Further submissions must be in writing and be in accordance with Form 6 of the Resource Management (Forms, Fees and Procedure) Regulations 2003.  Appropriate forms are available from the above locations or alternatively click HERE.
