Pursuant to the Transport [Vehicular Traffic Road Closure] Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Taupo District Council, for the purpose of enabling the Six Day Enduro Motocross organisers to hold the Parade of Nations, proposes to close parts of Ferry Road & Tongariro Street to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:
Roads Proposed to be Closed to Ordinary Vehicular Traffic:
- Ferry Road – between Tongariro Street and the first carpark
- Tongariro Street – North bound lane from Ferry Road to the Great Lake Centre
Period of Closure
- Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 5pm to 5.30pm
Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of the objection and grounds thereof in writing before October 15, 2006 at the office of the Council, 72 Lake Terrace, Taupo.
