Call for Submissions to Variation 22 Road Hierarchy to the Taupo Proposed District Plan

March 14 2007 Pursuant to Clause 5(2) of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, Taupo District Council gives notice that Variation 22: Road Hierarchy, to the Taupo Proposed District Plan (PDP) is now available and invites any interested party to make a submission.
 


The proposed variation seeks to amend the District’s Road Hierarchy, as set down on the Planning Maps contained within the PDP, to reflect changes in the function and traffic volumes of selected roads.

A full copy of the Variation and supporting information may be inspected at any of the following Council Offices:
• Taupo District Council – 72 Lake Terrace, Taupo
• Taupo Public Library – Tongariro Street, Taupo
• Turangi Service Centre – Town Centre, Turangi
• Turangi Library – Town Centre, Turangi
• Mangakino Service Centre -  Civic Centre, Rangatira Drive, Mangakino
• Mangakino Library - Civic Centre, Rangatira Drive, Mangakino
• Or online at www.taupo.govt.nz

Submissions must be made in writing and be in the form prescribed in the Resource Management (Forms, Fees and Procedure) Regulations 2003 (Form 5) or similar. Appropriate forms are available from the above locations.
 
The closing date for Submissions on Variation 22 to the Proposed District Plan is 5.00pm on Wednesday, 4 April 2007.  Submissions can be:
