Asset Management Plans

Introduction

Asset Management Plans (AMPs) outline Council’s long term plan to manage its infrastructure within the overall framework of Councils strategies, policies and plans.

The AMPs provide a comprehensive plan for the future of the asset, taking into consideration what level of service is required by our communities, what is the most cost effective way to manage the asset and what the overall priorities are.

For instance, the Roading AMP sets out what roads we intend to build and our roading maintenance renewal/replacement schedule for the next ten years - it also includes footpaths, street lighting, cycle facilities, car parking etc.

The AMPs also include a detailed long term financial budget for each asset.

An Executive Summary has been attached below to give you a brief overview of the contents of each AMP.

Copies of the full set of Asset Management Plans are available to be viewed at Council offices or you can request a CD.  These files are very large.
