April 2008 Open Days

Council held a series of public ‘open days’ during 8, 9, 10, and 12 April 2008 in Taupo, Turangi, Mangakino, and Acacia Bay.  The open days were publicly advertised, and provided an opportunity to give information on the first stages of the Landscape and Natural Values project to members of the wider Community, and obtain their feedback. 

The information provided at the open days included posters on where Council is at with the plan changes, a map of the Taupo District showing where the draft landscape and natural value areas are, and a schedule describing each area identified on the map.  To view the Landscape and Natural Values information provided at the open days, click on the following:
