Making a Submission
Your submission should be concise but cover all the points you wish to make. If you wish to speak at the hearing on the proposed plan modification what you are able to say can be limited by what you have written. Therefore, it is important to think carefully about the wording of your submission. Be specific about your concerns and the decision you want the Council to make about the proposal.
Send only one copy of your submission. Duplicate copies which arrive after the first copy are not used or referred to, unless there has been a change in the submission. Copies of all submissions will be available to the public in libraries and service centres.

Submissions not using this form will also be accepted. Your written submission should include:
1. Your name and address for correspondence.
2. The date of submission.
3. The plan modification name and number.
4. The part/parts of the plan modification that you support/oppose.
5. The reasons for your support/opposition of the plan modification.
6. Whether you wish to be heard at the public Council plan modification hearing.
7. Your signature.

Making a Further Submission
Once the submissions have been summarised and notified, you can then make a further submission. You do not have to have made an original submission and these further submissions can be in support or opposition to another person's submission.

2. Which submission you oppose or support. (state who made the original submission, their name and address and submission number if known.)
3. The particular part of the submission you oppose or support.
4. The reasons for your support/opposition.
5. Whether you wish to be heard at the public Council plan modification hearing.
6. You must sign and date your submission
