Nukuhau Boat Ramp Area Reserve Upgrade

Council is upgrading facilities on the Nukuhau Boat Ramp Area Reserve in line with improvements recommended in the Nukuhau Boat Ramp Area Reserve Management Plan.

The first stage of the $1.2 million re-development included relocation of existing boat and yacht pens, provision of additional pens, enhanced stormwater and sewage systems, landscaping, new ashphalt surfacing of the metalled area and a concrete road from the boat ramp to Pier 87.

Stage 2 involves the redevelopment of Pier 87 for boat maintenance yard and buildings. This is currently being designed and will hopefully be undertaken by April 2007.
