Library to host great debate

Taupo Library will host the annual Great Debate this Thursday, 20 August 2009, at 7pm.
Put on by the Friends of the Library, this annual debate between Tauhara College and Reporoa College is a fierce battle of wits.
It has been won for the last four years by Tauhara College. However, this year Reporoa College will be hoping that it’s their team’s turn to win as they debate whether the ‘Best things in life are free.’
Experienced judges Hilary Brown, Aletta Lamprecht and Christine Beavis will be joined by Chairman Andrew Baber to ensure an evening of intelligent and witty entertainment.
Everyone is welcome to this free event and the supper provided afterwards.
