Taupo Lakers through to the Semi’s

After a nail biting heat, the Lakers scraped through thanks to some heroic action on the rock’n’road from Chris Henderson and some super fast puzzle solving from the girls.  The Unison Taupo Lakers came from behind and bet the elite Motueka team to secure themselves the semi final spot.  This Sunday’s show will be the sixth show out of eight and the first semi.

Councillor and Lakers Coach, Mich’eal Downard said this week’s episode is a must see.  “Make sure you support the team this Sunday – I can guarantee it will be a good laugh.  And if the team makes it through to the final, there is talk about a community celebration so watch this space.”

Naming sponsors of the Taupo Lakers, Unison – the Powerlines People, were rapt to see the Taupo Lakers through to the semi’s and are looking forward to seeing how the team goes under pressure this Sunday.
