Turangi Town Centre workshop

The Turangi/Tongariro Community Board is sending out an open invite to the community to attend a workshop aimed at boosting Turangi’s town centre.  The workshop is being held on Monday 27 April.

The objectives of the workshop are to progress the promotion of Turangi, discuss signage for the town, and identify potential opportunities arising as a result of the East Taupo Arterial and Rugby World Cup 2011.

The results of the Turangi Town Centre Occupancy Survey conducted in January will also be presented and discussed.

Anyone interested in contributing positively to Turangi’s future is welcome to attend.  The workshop will be held in the Taupo District Council’s Turangi Service Centre boardroom at 5.30pm on Monday 27 April.
