Join One - Join All Three!

Anyone can become a member of Taupo District Libraries. 

Joining entitles you to membership of not one, but three Libraries - Mangakino, Taupō and Turangi.

How to Join

To sign up, visit your library with photo I.D and a statement or bill that has been posted to your address within the last month. If you are under 18 you will need a parent or guardian to sign for you. 

Cost

Local residents and rate payers

$1.50 covers the cost of a library card for local residents and rate payers.

NZ Residents and Overseas Visitors

If you are not resident of the Taupo district a subscription can be taken out for $10.

Replacement membership cards
If you lose your library card you can replace it at a cost of $1.50.  You will need to bring proof of I.D in with you when replacing a card.

If you do lose your card please notify us as soon as possible so we can block your card from being used.
