The Three Bears Breakfast

NZ Book Month celebrations are well underway, and how better to celebrate than with breakfast with local author and illustrator Donovan Bixley at the Taupō Library?

The Three Bears Breakfast, is on 23 March at 10.00am and will feature breakfast, story-telling and fun for the entire family. The breakfast coincides with the release of the new book, The Three Bears (Sort Of), by Yvonne Morrison and Taupō’s own Donovan Bixley. Free breakfast will be supplied to the first 100 children.

The Taupō Library is fortunate to welcome back Donovan and all the fun he brings with him. Education Officer Tammy Merriman is thrilled at his return and cannot wait to see local families sharing in the joy of Donovan’s stories.

Price’s Bookshop will also sell copies of The Three Bears (Sort Of) in the library during the event, and there are copies to give away on the day. This free event is sponsored by Scholastic, Nestle and Meadowfresh.
