We are committed to ensuring that our community grants are allocated and distributed fairly, transparently and efficiently. We fund five district wide grant schemes - Mangakino-Pouakani Community Grants, Turangi-Tongariro Community Grants, Social Services Grants, Creative Taupo Grants and the Community Sport Fund - and administer two external grants for Creative New Zealand and Sport New Zealand. Grants help us to support community groups, our partners and individuals who make an invaluable contribution to our community and achieve the goals set out in our Long Term Plan. For more information on our criteria and objectives see our Community Funding Criteria and our Grants and Partnerships Policy.
