Living in the Taupo District
Property
The Taupo district offers a wide range of residential properties in a variety of urban and country settings, from the lakeside to the mountains, with some stunning views on offer. The Taupo district residential property market has proved to be very stable over the years, and with prices ranging from $170,000 upwards, there is property to suit all budgets.
We have significant land and building opportunities on offer, with a wide range of sections available throughout the district. If country living is your style, we have plenty of rural land and ‘life-style’ blocks available, most of which are only a short commute to the CBD.
Renting is an attractive option in Taupo, with a wide variety of rental properties available, and at rates very competitive with rest of the country. Many rental homes are owned from outside of the district, so owning a rental property in Taupo is also popular.
