Maps online - Mapi
Access the online mapping system here
Mapi is a free mapping application that uses GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to enable you to view property and land information, reticulated services, District Plan and aerial photography in the Taupo District.
Mapi is simple. It is easy to navigate and has some extremely useful features that will continue to be developed. You can use Mapi to search for property and other information such as the latest aerial photography, location of council-owned water, wastewater and stormwater pipes, view contours over your property, what day your rubbish is collected, find the closest council reserve and view District Plan information.
Before getting started
- Please ensure your PC is up to date and has the latest version of Silverlight installed here.
Older web browsers, most mobile devices, ipads, tablets and some operating systems, are unable to use Silverlight.
- We will be releasing an HTML5 version soon which will be compatible with a greater number of mobile devices and operating systems.
- To ensure you get the most out of this site we have put together a MAPI user guide to help with navigation, toolbars and layers.
GIS Data Download Centre - coming soon
If you have your own GIS mapping software you will soon be able to use our published data and map services. Watch this space for these in the New Year.
