CIVIL DEFENCE CENTRES
The below chart shows the Welfare Civil Defence Centres that have been activated to support the Civil Defence event or emergency incident.
WELFARE CENTRES
Welfare Centres provide basic services to the community during an emergency or Civil Defence event. You may find services such as St John, Work and Income, Housing NZ, NZ Red Cross, The Salvation Army and other community service providers. These centres may offer catering and accommodation.
Information on the current situation will be displayed at these locations also.
RECOVERY ASSISTANCE CENTRES
Recovery Assistance Centres provide basic services to the community during the recovery phase of the emergency or Civil Defence event. You may find services such as Work and Income, Housing NZ, NZ Red Cross, The Salvation Army and other community service providers.
