Taupō District community grants scheme
Council has committed through its Long-term Plan to continue to support our communities in accordance with the new Grants and Partnerships Policy 2021. Council welcomes applications from the Taupō District for Partnership Agreements and Grant Distributors (see below).
Applications for Grant Distributors
Taupō District Council invites applications from organisations who are keen to distribute community grant funds on Council’s behalf for the next three years through to 2024.
Council requires support to distribute community grant funds throughout the Taupō District for the following:
- Social Well-being
- Arts and Culture
Applications closed on July 30 2021. Thank you for all applications received.
Please be aware late applications will not be considered by Council.

2018 applications to be an independent distributor
Council received applications to be an independent distributor from several groups. Council considered all applications at a special meeting held in July 2018 with results shown in the table below.
