Taupo District Council are inviting members of the public to give feedback on the draft Motutere Reserve Management Plan.
The first round of consultation occurred over December 2023 and January 2024 where 114 submissions from the community were received, this feedback helped to form the draft plan.
Key proposed changes include:
- New reserve values section
- Six new objectives and outcomes
- Changes to camping lease area
- Change to Ōtaiātoa Bay access

Submissions are open from 9am Tuesday 3 September until 4.30pm Monday 4 November 2024.
