District Licensing Committee
The District Licensing Committee has replaced Council's role in the issue and renewal of manager's licences and alcohol licence applications, and increases the ability of communities to have a say on local alcohol licensing matters.
Formed under the new Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, the committee considering alcohol related matters will be the chairman and two other approved members.
The approved members are:
- Murray Clearwater (Commissioner/ Chairman)
- Councillor John Boddy (Deputy Chairman)
- Councillor John Williamson
- Eric Foley
- Louise Foley
- Judy James
- Graeme Cushing
- Jane Arnott
- Terry Andrews
