This week marked the changes to the right of way at the intersection of Napier Road, Arrowsmith Avenue and Kiddle Drive.
The changes give traffic travelling on Kiddle Drive and Arrowsmith Avenue the right of way, with vehicles on Napier Road required to stop.
There will be large digital screens advising drivers of the change on each approach to the intersection, along with new fixed signs with ‘new road layout’ on the approaches.
In addition, signage displaying a reduced speed limit of 30km/h approaching the intersection will also be in place for the next few weeks to help everybody get used to new layout.
We’re pleased to see this work completed as it will make this intersection safer for everyone who uses it including school children, cyclists, pedestrians and drivers.
Safety is our number one priority, so please take extra care and reduce your speed when approaching this intersection as we all get used to the new road layout.
