Join us to mark the Coronation of King Charles III
News
To celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King, Mayor David Trewavas will be planting a tree in Tongariro South Domain at 10am this Saturday 6 May.
The tree being planted is a native New Zealand Mountain Beech tree. It is a fitting way to mark the occasion as King Charles III is viewed as a leading environmentalist, having championed environmental issues for many years.
The planting will be followed by a small morning tea at Taupō Museum.
