What's in your future, Taupo District?
What do you want to see – for you, for your community, for future generations?
Every three years Taupō District Council develops a Long-term Plan that sets the direction and budget for the next 10 years. We are about to begin developing the 2024-34 Long-term Plan in consultation with our communities.
The Long-term Plan process supports the community and Council to make decisions about where best to put Council’s time and the community’s money. It requires a long-term focus so that our finances and our assets stay in good shape for future generations.
We want your feedback across a range of council services, including the future of kerbside waste and recycling collection in urban areas, and some specific projects in your community.
Join us at an evening drop-in session near you where you can chat with our team and local councillors, and learn more about the upcoming Long-term Plan and what it may mean for you and your community. Plus, there will be a $50 Prezzy card up for grabs for one lucky attendee on the night!
If you can’t make it to one of the evening events, Council staff will also be available on certain days and times to chat with you about the Long-term Plan. Drop by, they’re looking forward to a kōrero!
