Acacia Bay retaining walls
Work got underway in March on five new retaining walls on Wily Terrace and Acacia Bay Road to stabilise the roadway, footpaths and adjacent slopes. The project is being carried out to provide a long-term solution to slips in the area.

Following the interruption caused by Alert Levels 3 and 4, the project resumed in May 2020. One large retaining wall has been completed and, with weather permitting, it is hoped the remaining walls will be in place by the end of August.
