Domestic violence and abuse help agencies

Violence & Abuse is ‘NOT OKAY’

 It happens in many ways:
  • Physical slaps, punches, kicks, weapons
  • Emotional making you think you are crazy
  • Verbal put downs, harassment
  • Threats to your safety and the safety of others
  • Sexual molestation, rape coercion
  • Financial controlling, dependency
  • Intimidation living in fear
  • Neglect left alone, cold, hungry

Remember you are not alone. There is always someone in our community ready and willing to help.

The purpose of the Taupo District Violence Intervention Network is to stop the cycle of violence. View the Zero Tolerance to Violence Statement here.
