UPDATE 3pm Tuesday, September 28: The Tirohanga water supply has been confirmed safe for human consumption. As a result, the boil water notice is now lifted for all residents using the Tirohanga water supply. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while we resolved this issue.
The boil water notice was placed on the Tirohanga supply on Friday, September 28 following heavy rainfall that flushed a considerable amount of silt and sediment into the spring where the water is drawn from.
