Updating our information system: what you need to know
We’re updating our information system from 4pm Friday 30 August to Tuesday 10 September. You’ll still be able to interact with us but it may be slightly different while we change to the new system.
Credit card payments temporarily unavailable
Credit card payments on the council website will be unavailable from 4pm Friday 30 August until Tuesday 10 September while council switches to a new information system. This includes rates, parking infringements, dog registrations, water accounts and other debtor payments.
Council also won’t be taking credit card payments over the phone during this period, however payments can continue to be made by Internet banking or at any of our customer service centres using a credit card, EFTpos or cash. Alternatively, you may delay payment until you can make a credit card payment online from Tuesday 10 September.
Urgent LIMs temporarily unavailable
The Urgent LIM service will also be unavailable over the same dates. Standard LIMs will continue to be processed within the usual timeframes.

Over this period of time, staff will be processing some customer requests manually, which means there may be delays and wait times when calling us or visiting our customer service centres. Please be kind as our staff will be doing their best to help you as quickly as they can.
