About Mapi

Taupō District Council's geospatial mapping application, Mapi, lets you display and interact with a variety of spatial information.

Mapi allows you to:

Search for property information
See the latest aerial photography
Find the location of council-owned water, wastewater and storm water pipes
View contours over your property
See what day your rubbish is collected
Find the closest council reserve
View District Plan information.

As a modern and mobile-responsive platform, Mapi includes interactive map tools so you can search by address, measure distances, toggle layers (zoning, property boundaries, pipes), print custom maps and so much more!

Data Portals and open data

Knowledge is power and by making data free and open to external agencies and members of the public we are hoping to promote progress, unlock innovation and, by its creative use, result in economic value.

The Waikato and Bay of Plenty Data Portals are both public platforms where councils across both of these regions share data.
