Every time you flush the toilet or put something down a drain, that used water – and everything with it – goes through our wastewater network. When the wrong things are flushed or poured down drains, pipes can block and wastewater can overflow into the environment and no one wants that to happen.
We work hard to maintain our network but we all have a role to play. Small actions and some regular checks at home and work can make a big difference and help avoid costly repairs.
