Lake Terrace - new roundabout and temporary detour

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Lake Terrace and Maunganamu Drive is set to begin on 31 August, with the project expected to be completed by the end of November.
Road users can expect traffic disruption and detours for around two to three months while construction is underway.
To keep traffic moving, a temporary sealed bypass will be built to connect Lake Tce to Pukenamu Rd. Pedestrian and cyclist access around the site will be clearly signposted.
Motorists are urged to follow all traffic management signs and allow extra travel time.
