Roadworks on Acacia Bay Road begin Monday 28 September
Road works and closures
Roadworks on Acacia Bay Road, between Norman Smith Street and Jarden Mile, begin on Monday 28 September and are expected to take approximately five days, weather permitting.
Road users should expect short delays and minor disruptions while the works are underway, with Stop/Go traffic management and temporary detours used at times. Please allow extra travel time and take care when travelling through the work site.
Works summary:
- Location: Acacia Bay Road, between Norman Smith Street and Jarden Mile
- Dates: Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October (weather permitting)
- Times: Work on the road will be carred out daily between 9am and 3pm.
During the works:
- Parts of the site will operate under Stop/Go traffic management, with traffic controllers onsite to direct traffic safely.
- Some work activities will require a temporary detour. Please follow all signage and directions from onsite staff.
- No parking will be permitted within the work area while works are underway.
These road strengthening works, being carried out by HEB Construction, are designed to improve the road surface, making it safer and more durable for all road users. A full reseal of this area will be completed at a later date, and we will provide an update once this work has been scheduled.
