Roadworks on Arrowsmith Avenue start Monday 28 September

Roadworks on Arrowsmith Avenue, between Napier Road and Shepherd Road, start on Monday 28 September and are expected to take approximately five working days, weather permitting.

Road users should expect short delays and minor disruptions while works are underway. Please allow extra travel time and take care when travelling through the work site.

Works summary:

• Location: Arrowsmith Avenue, between Napier Road and Shepherd Road
• Dates: Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October (weather permitting)
• Times: Work on the road will be carried out daily between 7am and 7pm.

During the works:

• Traffic management will be in place throughout the work area, including Stop/Go operations.
• Temporary speed restrictions will apply while works are underway.
• Cyclists may be required to merge with traffic or use alternative routes where directed.
• Some bus stop locations may be temporarily relocated during the works.
• No parking will be permitted within the work area while works are underway.

These works, being carried out by HEB Construction, will repair and strengthen the road pavement to improve the long-term condition, safety and durability of the road. A further seal will be completed at a later date, and we will provide an update once this has been scheduled.
