Kaimanawa Street roadworks: 5-9 October

Road resurfacing works on Kaimanawa Street, between Lake Terrace and Roberts Street, start on Monday 5 October and are expected to take approximately five working days, weather permitting.

Please expect some delays and changes to normal travel routes while the works are underway. Allow extra travel time, follow the signposted detours and take care around the work site.

Works summary:

• Location: Kaimanawa Street, between Lake Terrace and Roberts Street
• Dates: Monday 5 October to Friday 9 October (weather permitting)
• Closure times: Sections of Kaimanawa Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic daily between 8am and 4pm while works are carried out.

During the works:

• Signposted detours will be in place
• Temporary speed restrictions will apply around the work area.
• No parking will be permitted within the work area while works are underway.

Bus Stop changes

The bus stop outside 31 Kaimanawa Street will be temporarily closed during the works. A temporary bus stop will be located on Roberts St, as shown on the map. Please allow a little extra time when travelling and follow the temporary signage provided.
