Planned water shutdown in Pukawa POSTPONED

To help maintain a reliable, high-quality water supply, our contractor, Downer, will be carrying out essential maintenance work in part of Pukawa.
During the scheduled shutdown period, properties in the affected area will have no water supply while this work is completed.

*property numbers 20 and higher (on the even side of the road) and property numbers 23 and higher (on the odd side of the road).
To help minimise disruption, we recommend that you:
- Store enough water for your household's needs during the shutdown
- Avoid using taps during the shutdown period, as this may draw discoloured water into your plumbing
- Once water is restored, run your taps for a few minutes to clear any air or temporary discolouration.
If the work takes longer than planned, onsite crews will keep affected residents informed and work with you to ensure essential water needs are met. If poor weather prevents the work from going ahead, it will be rescheduled for the next working day.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this important work is carried out.
All 59 affected properties have received a letter from Downer in the mail.
