Taupō Events Centre Stadium to reopen Monday 5 May

Join us to celebrate the reopening of Taupō Events Centre Stadium on Monday 5 May.

Following the completion of essential maintenance work, we’re delighted to show the upgrades have been completed.

• The whole floor has been sanded, varnished and levelled, making it much safer and suitable for everyone.
• The Club Rooms have been recarpeted.
• The retractable bleachers renovated.
• New professional standard basketball hoops.

From 3pm to 5pm on Monday 5 May, everyone is welcome to check out our shiny new stadium floor. We will have three courts set up for you to try your hand at basketball, netball, pickleball or simply take a look!

Taupō Rockwall will also be open for current members. Classes are back and registrations for Term 2 are open right now.

A lot is happening over the next few months and over King’s Birthday weekend the stadium will host the Aotearoa Poitarawhiti A Iwi National Netball Championships.

We’d love to see everyone back using the stadium and getting the most out of this amazing venue!
