New kids' area at Mangakino Library

The Mangakino Library has had a refresh.

The children’s area at the Mangakino Library has a new look with the addition of colourful walls, a reading tree and a book nook where the tamariki can dive into the world of stories and knowledge.

Thanks to all the amazing tamariki from Mangakino School who joined Taupō Library's master storyteller Jeffrey Addison for a very special reading event earlier this week.

Come down with the kids and check out the new space!

The library opening hours are:

• Tuesday to Friday – 10am to noon, 12.30pm to 3pm
• Saturday – 10am to 1pm
• Closed Sunday and Monday
