Two community grants opening in September

Good news if you're looking for funding - we've got two central government funds opening from 1 September until 4.30pm on 30 September.
Creative Communities Scheme
Know of any local art groups, choirs, theatre groups, poets or craft groups that could do with a boost? The Creative Communities Scheme helps to fund local art projects that contribute to community participation, diversity or young people.

Waste Minimisation Fund
The Waste Minimisation Fund provides individuals, community groups and organisations with the opportunity to fund initiatives that:

• Reduce the generation of waste
• Encourage the reuse and recovery of materials
• Divert waste from landfill through reuse, repair, recycling, and composting
• Raise awareness of issues around food waste, single-use plastics, and other wastes
