Crouch, touch, pause and engage with the Global Games at Taupō’s Owen Delany Park this Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 September.
This annual competition gives junior rugby players the opportunity to participate against clubs from around the country and the world, while creating lifelong memories with their mates on tour.
Everyone is welcome to come down, watch the rugby, and look out for future All Blacks!
To help keep everybody safe during the festival there will be temporary traffic management and speed restrictions between 6.30am to 6pm Friday and Saturday, and until 4pm on Sunday, on Centennial Drive and Delany Drive.
This Thursday sees the opening ceremony and an exhibition match at 5pm, so speed restrictions operate from 4pm to 8pm.
Expect the area around Owen Delany Park to be busy.
Nau mai, haere mai to all competitors and spectators, and best of luck to our local Taupō rohe teams!
