Otumuheke Stream track at Spa Park is being concreted from top to bottom - all 228 metres of it!
This upgrade will improve access for wheelchairs, prams, bikes, and walkers/runners, leading down to the viewing platform over the popular swimming hole. This has been a long-requested upgrade. It’ll make the path more resilient to the weather events we are experiencing more of and help keep everyone safe while using it.
During this work, you'll still be able to access the area, but signage will be in place to divert you from the worksite.
Work starts on Tuesday 4 November, and is expected to take around two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
