Calls for expressions of interest for Taupō farmers and craft market
Calls for expressions of interest are sought from anyone interested in running the vibrant farmers’ and craft market in Taupō, with the lease for the current market expiring on 30 April 2026.
The new lease for the current market operating at Taupō’s Northcroft Reserve will take effect from 1 May 2026.
Taupō District Council’s district events manager Sinead Vincent says the Taupō market is an important part of the social fabric of the community. “We’ve seen real value in having a market and we’re really excited to watch it grow and evolve,” she says. “The market is a focal point for the community and is a fantastic opportunity to unite locals and visitors in a great space near the lakefront.”
Calls for expressions of interest are sought from anyone interested in organising and managing this unique market environment for all the community.
Find out how to lodge your interest here or contact events@taupo.govt.nz for more information.
Expressions of interest close at 4.30pm on Monday 1 December 2025.
